Ranthambore’s tigress Riddhi enjoys ‘pool party day’ with her cubs, video goes viral

Tigress Riddhi, also named T-124, was captured playing a happy afternoon with her cubs inside Rajasthan's Ranthambore National Park. Posted on Instagram by wildlife photographer and professor Gyana Mohanty, the clip begins with Riddhi wading into a small body of water delicately while her cubs splash about her.

The cubs are seen huddling close to their mum as they take part in playful nuzzles. Riddhi is no run-of-the-mill tigress. She is the fifth-generation offspring of the legendary tigress Machali, affectionately dubbed "The Lady of the Lake". Riddhi is also Tigress Arrowhead's (T-84) daughter, carrying on a powerful and iconic lineage in the park.

Her increasing cubs and consistent sightings in Ranthambore have established her as the most viewed and respected big cat in the region. Footage and images of her tend to attract keen interest, further enhancing her popularity online.
