This Ekadashi comes right after Nirjala Ekadashi and before Devshayani Ekadashi.

What Is Yogini Ekadashi?Yogini Ekadashi is a highly revered vrat (fast) dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Yogini Ekadashi is said to be one of the most powerful Ekadashis, known across all three Loks—Swarg Lok (heaven), Mrityu Lok (earth), and Patal Lok (netherworld).

Yogini Ekadashi Fasting Rules- The fast begins at sunrise on Ekadashi and continues until the next day.
- Devotees observe nirjala (without water) or phalahar (fruit-based) fasts depending on their capacity.
- Food containing grains, beans, onions, garlic, and certain spices must be strictly avoided.
- Devotees should spend the day chanting Vishnu mantras, reading scriptures like the Vishnu Sahasranama, and offering prayers.
Parana Vidhi: Breaking the Fast- The fast is broken on the Dwadashi Tithi (next day of Ekadashi), after sunrise.
- It must be done after Hari Vasara ends. Breaking the fast before this period is considered inauspicious.
- Preferred time for Parana is Pratahkal (early morning). If not possible, it can be done after Madhyahna (midday).
