Tirumala Launches New Srivani Darshan Ticket Counter to Help Devotees Skip Long Queues

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has opened a new SRIVANI Darshan Ticket Centre to make ticket booking easier for devotees and eliminate long waiting lines. The new facility, located opposite Tirumala Annamayya Bhavan, was inaugurated on Tuesday evening by TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu and Executive Officer J. Shyamala Rao.

A Major Relief for Devotees

Until now, devotees arriving at Tirumala for Srivani Darshan tickets often had to stand in queues as early as 5:00 AM to secure their bookings. Addressing this issue, Chairman Naidu said, “Devotees have been standing in queues for Srivani Darshan tickets since morning. To ease the process, we have built this state-of-the-art centre at a cost of Rs 60 lakhs.”

The modern ticket centre is designed to handle high demand, allowing pilgrims to get Srivani special entry tickets faster and more comfortably.

About the SRIVANI Darshan Scheme

The SRIVANI Trust, managed by TTD, allows devotees to make a donation for temple development and welfare projects. In return, contributors are offered special entry darshan at Tirumala temple, making it a highly sought-after option among pilgrims. Due to the popularity of this scheme, demand for Srivani Darshan tickets has surged, leading to long queues and waiting times, which this new counter aims to resolve.

Modernised Facilities for Pilgrims

Along with the new ticket centre, Chairman Naidu also inaugurated upgraded sub-inquiry offices at the HVC (High-Level Cottages) and ANC (Annaprasadam Complex) areas. These new facilities are intended to improve pilgrim assistance and information services, ensuring a more seamless experience for all devotees visiting Tirumala.

The TTD Chairman personally inspected these facilities to ensure that the infrastructure meets the needs of thousands of devotees who arrive daily for Lord Venkateswara Darshan.

With this new initiative, TTD aims to make Srivani Darshan ticket booking faster, more convenient, and stress-free, ensuring a smoother experience for pilgrims.
