At least 69 people across Pakistan lost their lives in the preceding week due to intense rainfall leading to flooding, as reported by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). Abdul Rasheed Nasir, the medical superintendent at the Headquarter hospital in Chaman, recounted an incident where a vehicle was carried away by the floodwaters.
