This year around 32.52 lakh hectares has been sown with Chana in Madhya Pradesh, 17.514 lakh hectares in Rajasthan ,18.40 lakh hectares in Maharashtra and 10.80 lakh hectares in Karnataka. Favorable monsoon has boosted the Chana sowing in the country.
