Video: Rihanna's team arrives in Jamnagar ahead of Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding

Apart from Rihanna, Diljit Dosanjh, B Praak and Arijit Singh are also expected to perform at the pre-wedding festivities.

The pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will begin tomorrow in Jamnagar. The three-day extravaganza from March 1-3 will see a hoard of international and national celebrities, including Bill Gates, Sundar Pichai, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, among others.

The Ambani family has left no stone unturned in the preparation of the pre-wedding festivities of their youngest son and daughter-in-law Merchant. The gala will also feature performances by Rihanna and Diljit Dosanjh, among others.

Ahead of the 3-day event starting Friday, Rihanna’s team arrived to a grand Indian welcome at Jamnagar airport. They were greeted with a traditional Gujarati dandiya dance, a multitude of sweets and beverages.

Meanwhile, apart from Rihanna, Punjabi sensation Diljit Dosanjh is also expected to set the stage on fire with his performance. “Mann Bharrya” singer B Praak also landed in Jamnagar a few days back.

Arijit Singh is also expected to grace the stage at the much-awaited pre-wedding festivities of Anant and Radhika in addition to world-renowned Illusionist David Blaine.

While Anant Ambani is the youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Radhika Merchant is the daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant.

The couple's roka ceremony was held at Shrinathji Temple in Rajasthan's Nathdwara in December 2022. “Anant and Radhika have known each other for a few years and today’s ceremony commences the formal journey of their marriage in the coming months. Both families seek the blessings and good wishes of everyone for Radhika and Anant as they start their journey of togetherness,” their families said in a statement.

The roka was followed by a traditional engagement ceremony called "Gol Dhana" hosted at the Ambani residence - Antillia - in January 2023. “Gol Dhana” is the traditional Gujarati engagement ceremony in which coriander seeds and jaggery are distributed to guests.
