'What an incredible week': Tim Cook posts farewell message from India visit

Tim Cook was present at the Apple store launch, first in Mumbai and later in New Delhi, where thousands gathered to meet him and catch a glimpse of the store.

Tim Cook's week in India saw him at the Apple store launches and meet dignitaries both in Mumbai and New Delhi.


Apple CEO Tim Cook, who has been in India this week for the launch of the two Apple stores in Mumbai and New Delhi, thanked the teams across the nation and added that he could not wait to return.

"What an incredible week in India! Thanks to our teams across the country. I can’t wait to return," Cook posted on Twitter.


Cook was present at the Apple store launch, first in Mumbai and later in New Delhi, where thousands gathered to meet him and catch a glimpse of the store. The store in Mumbai is called Apple BKC while the store in New Delhi is called Apple Saket.

During his time in Mumbai, Cook met dignitaries such as Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani and Tata sons chairman N Chandrasekaran. During his visit to New Delhi, Cook met Prime Minister Narendra Modi,  Minister of State in Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar and Union Minister for Railways, Communications, Electronics & Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw, among others.

He also took some time off to watch an Indian Premier League match between the Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Arun Jaitely Stadium on Wednesday.
