Deepavali is celebrated with much pomp in Singapore and this year, the Singapore Police's method to greet citizens has won them accolades both in their country and in India thanks to Rajinikath.
The video released by the Singapore Police Force is heavily inspired by Jailer and it has the officers lip-syncing to the Tamil lyrics of the song "Hukum".
Reacting to the video, X user Siddharth P (@SPeesary) wrote, "The Singapore police force’s Diwali wishes delivered in the iconic Jailor Rajni style is a beautiful fusion of culture and creativity! It’s heartwarming to see such unique expressions of celebration that resonate with love and unity. This gesture not only spreads joy but also brings communities together in the spirit of Diwali, showcasing that the festival transcends boundaries. Pure goosebumps indeed!"
On Instagram, a user commented, "It's good to see the racial harmony and Singapore celebrates Diwali. Kudos to the Singapore Police Force." Another user wrote, "This is amazing guys… beautifully shot… great job everyone."
