Mamaearth's Ghazal Alagh and Sugar Cosmetics’ Vineeta Singh are among the country's top 10 youngest women entrepreneurs, a list recently released by IDFC First Bank and Hurun India revealed. The entrepreneurs, who have also been judges on the popular business reality show Shark Tank India, bagged the first and sixth ranks.

Ghazal Alagh topped the list while she and Saumya Singh Rathore of Winzo, both aged 35, were also the youngest women entrepreneurs on it. Founded in 2016, by Ghazal and Varun Alagh, Mamaearth is currently valued at Rs 9,981 crore, the report stated.

The ranking of this IDFC First Bank and Hurun India list reflects the value of enterprises rather than the individual net worth of the founders and Vineeta Singh, 40, ranked sixth on it.

Sugar Cosmetics, founded by Singh and her husband Kaushik Mukherjee, is estimated to be worth Rs 3,078 crore.

Ghazal Alagh and Mamaearth made headlines last month after the parent company Honasa Consumer marked its entry at the Mumbai stock exchange.

"The sun is shining a little brighter today," Ghazal Alagh wrote on Tuesday as she and her husband, Varun Alagh, co-founders of Mamaearth, rang the bell at the Mumbai stock exchange, marking the parent company Honasa Consumer's first day of trading.

It subscribed 7.59 times on the final day of bidding, receiving bids for 21.92 crore shares against the issue size of 2.89 crore shares, and found supporters in Zomato and CEO Deepinder Goyal and The Third Unicorn founder and former Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover.

The seven-year-old company had started as toxin-free products for babies has evolved into a house of six brands today.
