Adham Bava, film producer who has worked predominantly in the Tamil film industry, thanked Elon Musk for making his movie "Thappattam's" poster 'world-famous". On Tuesday, the Tesla CEO took to X to share an Indian meme, taking a jab at Apple’s integration with OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Musk's tweet, featuring the meme which is also the poster of the film, highlighted concerns about potential privacy violations due to Apple sharing data with OpenAI.
The meme, titled "How intelligence works," featured the two actors sharing coconut water, symbolising the data-sharing dynamics between Apple and OpenAI.

Needless to say, the producer's post went viral and amassed over three lakh views with several social media users congratulating Bava in the comments section.
Meanwhile, the tech billionaire previously expressed his discontent with Apple’s move, threatening to ban Apple devices from his companies if OpenAI is integrated at the OS level. He criticised Apple's ability to ensure security and privacy with OpenAI, stating, “Apple has no clue what’s actually going on once they hand your data over to OpenAI. They’re selling you down the river.”
At the recent WWDC 2024, Apple announced that ChatGPT would be integrated into iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia, with enhanced capabilities for Siri. Apple assured that users could access ChatGPT without registration and that data would not be recorded.
Musk’s post has sparked significant discussion on social media, with users weighing in on the potential implications of the Apple-OpenAI partnership.
