Musician Ricky Kej meets Ratan Tata in Mumbai: 'Role model in every possible way'

Three-time Grammy award winning musician Ricky Kej had the opportunity to meet industrialist Ratan Tata at his Mumbai residence recently after visiting the latter to honour him with the "prestigious "KISS Humanitarian Award", along with Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences founder Achyuta Samanta.

"He is a role model in every possible way. Among the many topics - we spoke at length about his new @SAHMumbai which will open shortly. I visited the facility and it is magnificent," he added.

In February, Tata had spoken about establishing the animal hospital in Mumbai and said as someone who had cared for pets all his life, he felt it was necessary to build a hospital for them.

"A pet is no different from a member of one’s family today. As the guardian of several pets throughout my life, I recognise the need for this hospital," the 86-year-old had said.
