Bengaluru traffic: Bengaluru's tech corridor, Outer Ring Road (ORR), experienced unusual traffic congestion on Wednesday evening, promoting the traffic police to issue an advisory to IT companies to delay the logouts.

While social media was flooded with posts from people who were stuck in Wednesday evening’s traffic nightmare in Bengaluru, a heartwarming story has emerged of two delivery executives of Domino’s delivering food to a set of commuters right inside their car that was stuck in a jam.

The delivery agents tracked the live location of the customer in the middle of the traffic to deliver the food. X (formerly Twitter) user Rishivaths shared the video of the Domino’s agents stopping their two-wheeler right before his car on the jam-packed road, walking up to the car and delivering two boxes of food.

“Yay. We’re geniuses, guys,” a woman inside the car can be heard saying.

“When we decided to order from @dominos during the Bangalore choke. They were kind enough to track our live location (a few metres away from our random location added in the traffic) and deliver to us in the traffic jam,” Rishivaths wrote on X, along with the video.

The video has been well-received by the internet, with many calling it yet another ‘Peak Bengaluru’ moment.

“Next time I’m booking a massage from Urban Company,” X user Vibin Babuurajan joked.

Domino's fulfilling their 30-min delivery promise. This is awesome. On another note, take a moment to consider these delivery personnel. It's truly challenging for them, navigating through heavy traffic, and still consistently meeting customer expectations,” another user, Vikash Anand, wrote.

Wednesday evening’s traffic on Bengaluru’s Outer Ring Road (ORR) was among the worst gridlocks in recent months, affecting thousands of commuters, including children, many of whom returned home as late as 9 pm, thanks to school buses getting stuck in jams.

People attending a mid-week live show by US standup comic Trevor Noah too faced the traffic wrath, with many of them attempting to resell their tickets as they were running late. Noah’s show was eventually cancelled, owing to technical issues at the venue.
