Moneycontrol BureauAs the Parliament convenes Wednesday to take up arguably the biggest tax reform in independent India, it seems like the passage of the GST Constitutional Amendment Bill is sure. Since the Bill amends provisions of the Constitution, it will need favour with at least a two-thirds majority (164) of the 245-member strong Rajya Sabha, as opposed to a normal bill which is passed by simple majority.With the Congress giving its assent, the numbers finally seem to have aligned for the Bill.
