Anand Mahindra on Wednesday welcomed Mohit Joshi as Tech Mahindra's new CEO and MD with a heartfelt note on X. Calling it "not an easy responsibility to bear", the Mahindra Group chairperson said that Joshi is now responsible for 150,000 associates.
Mohit Joshi on Tuesday replaced CP Gurnani as the Tech Mahindra head.
"Life is truly magical because it offers us so many opportunities to make new beginnings and embark on new adventures. But life always leaves it to us, as individuals, to make the most of those opportunities," Anand Mahindra wrote on X. "Mohit, as you set sail on this new voyage, you now share the responsibility for 150,000 associates in the Tech M family as well the obligations to our large body of shareholders."
Wishing Joshi good luck in his new role, the Mahindra Group chairman added, "I know that it is not an easy responsibility to bear on your shoulders. But I hope you will find both fulfillment and joy in living up to those responsibilities. May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face."
