Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding festivities have become the talk of the town. The youngest son of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and Reliance Foundation chairperson Nita Ambani, Anant will marry Radhika Merchant in July this year. Before the big day, the Ambani family is hosting a three-day celebration at the Reliance Greens complex in Jamnagar.

The pre-wedding festivities will see the biggest names in tech, business, entertainment, and sports descend upon Jamnagar from March 1-3. On the guest list are top business executives such as Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and Sundar Pichai, as well as Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.

Anant Ambani was born on April 10, 1995. He is the youngest son of Reliance Industries chairperson Mukesh Ambani and wife Nita Ambani. He has two elder siblings – twins Akash and Isha Ambani.

He completed his schooling at Dhirubhai International School in Mumbai and received his bachelor’s degree from Brown University, US.

Anant Ambani serves as a director on the boards of Reliance Industries Ltd, Jio Platforms Ltd, Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd, Reliance New Energy Ltd and Reliance New Solar Energy Ltd.

Since September 2022, he has also served on the Reliance Foundation board.

The youngest Ambani scion is driving the expansion of the energy and materials businesses of Reliance Industries and its global operations in renewable and green energy.

An advocate for green energy, Anant Ambani is also behind Reliance’s efforts to become a Net Carbon Zero company by 2035.

The 28-year-old is also an animal lover who has been passionate about animal welfare from a young age. He is currently involved with several initiatives across rescue, healthcare, rehabilitation and conservation of animals.

In fact, Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding festivities reflect his love for animals. The invitation notes that in 1997, Reliance built the world’s largest grassroots refining complex near Jamnagar. “Anant has lovingly nurtured this complex into a haven of care and compassion for thousands of animals,” reads the invite to guests.

The Greens Zoological, Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre (GZRRC) is a mega zoo being developed on 280 acres by Reliance. One of the pre-wedding events at Jamnagar is titled “A Walk on the Wildside”, with “Jungle Fever” as the dress code.
