Apple has stopped doing "live" events for a while now. So expect the whole event to be a pre-recorded one that has been shot on iPhone and edited on a Mac -- something that Apple always loves to broadcast.

Apple's 'Awe Dropping' event is set to start in under 30 minutes. We will see new iPhones, Apple Watch models, AirPods Pro. But will there be a surprise unveil? Let's wait and watch.

Apple is expected to launch not one but three new Watch models. The Apple Watch Ultra which got minor tweaks in 2024 is expected to get satellite connectivity in its latest model. Apple Watch Series 11 will not bring too many upgrades as Apple gave it a major overhaul last year. Also, on the cards is the entry-level Watch SE which will see an upgrade for the first time in three years.

It won't be all about hardware as Apple is expected to reveal the official public roll out dates for its new operating systems for devices. We will come to know when iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, watchOS 26 will be made available to Apple users.

As always, all eyes will be on the price column of the iPhones. Apple's main competitors -- Google and Samsung -- didn't hike prices of their premium phones in 2025. Will the Trump tariffs force Apple to increase the prices of the iPhone 17 series? It can go both ways: Apple may swallow the hit because of the tariffs or could make the already-expensive iPhones more pricier.

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Air, set to launch on September 9, 2025, is expected to be the thinnest iPhone ever at just 5.5mm, excluding the thicker camera bump. The device will feature a 6.6-inch display, a single-lens rear camera with a horizontal bar design, and a titanium-aluminium frame for durability and lightness. Rumored to weigh around 145 grams, it will support MagSafe, Action Button, and new TechWoven cases, offering a fresh, ultra-slim design in black, white, light gold, and light blue.

The iPhone 17 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch 120Hz display with slimmer bezels and refreshed color options, including purple and green. The Pro model may sport a horizontal camera bar and lighter aluminium build, while the iPhone 17 Air could debut as Apple’s slimmest iPhone ever at 5.5mm.

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 series prices have leaked, ahead of the September 9 launch. The base iPhone 17 is expected to start at Rs 79,990, while the new iPhone 17 Air may be priced around Rs 89,990 to Rs 95,000 in India. The iPhone 17 Pro could see a hike, likely starting at Rs 1,25,000 due to increased base storage, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max may begin at Rs 1,44,990. Pre-orders are tipped to open on September 12.

Apple is set to host its “Awe Dropping” event on September 9, 2025, at its Cupertino headquarters.
