SpaceX and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk is now selling a flamethrower for Rs 31,800

After selling hats, the whimsically named construction company—The Boring Company—by Elon Musk is ready with its latest offer, a flamethrower, not an ordinary one, but the “world's safest flamethrower”.

The flamethrower which looks like a massive black and white gun is priced at USD 500 or Rs 31,800 and pre-order has started. The price does not include the delivery or handling charges for international customers (when we tried to order one to Delhi, the checkout price was quoted at USD 710.56).

He used Twitter to market the product and announced that over 7,000 units of the device have already been ordered within a day of the announcement. A total of only 20,000 devices will be manufactured.

The product information page also says that fire extinguisher is sold separately for exorbitant amounts of money (which is USD 30).

"Buy an overpriced Boring Company fire extinguisher! You can definitely buy one for less elsewhere, but this one comes with a cool sticker and the button is conveniently riiight above," says the product website.

The flamethrower which projects itself as "guaranteed to liven up any party" also promises a full refund to its international customers if not happy with said fees. The shipping for the product will start in the spring.

The Boring Company hat of which 50,000 units were sold, 30,000 have already been shipped. The next 20,000 will be shipped by Feb 23, as per the information on the website.
