Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 7: Rishab Shetty’s epic enters Rs 300 Cr club net, becomes second-highest-grossing Kannada film of 2025

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 is making waves at both domestic and worldwide box offices with packed theatres. The film has now officially entered the Rs 300 crore club at the domestic box office, becoming the second-highest-grossing Kannada film of the year.

According to the trade website, Kantara: Chapter 1 has collected around Rs 25 crore net in India on its seventh day of release for all languages. The film is estimated to earn around Rs 8.75 crore net in India in Hindi.

Kantara: Chapter 1’s total collection now stands at Rs 316 crore net in India.

The film made its debut in theatres with Rs 61.85 crore net in India and saw a decline on its second day of release, earning Rs 45.4 crore net in India. However, the prequel of Kantara collected Rs 55 crore net in India on its third day and Rs 63 crore on its fourth day. The film collected Rs 31.5 crore net in India on its fifth day. The film notably earned Rs 34.25 crore net in India on its sixth day.

Rishab Shetty’s mythological epic is enjoying a successful run at the global box office.

According to the trade website, Kantara: Chapter 1 has notably collected the historic Rs 427.5 crore worldwide in just six days. The film now aims to soon cross the Rs 500 mark worldwide.

The film, which was directed by Rishab Shetty, is now the first Kannada film of 2025 to achieve this feat. In addition to its Kannada audience, Kantara Chapter 1 has become incredibly popular in Hindi.
