A still of Rishab Shetty in Kantara

The most-talked about film Kantara: Chapter 1, starring Rishab Shetty is doing well at the box office and is being praised by people nationwide.

Fans have been posting on social media to praise the performances, cinematography, and spiritual depth. However some fans have gone too far by imitating the movie's Daiva characters. The company that produced Kantara: Chapter 1, Hombale Films, has now made an official statement regarding its concerns.

They wrote that the goal of Hombale Films is to educate people about diverse lifestyles. In response to the increasing number of fans who dress up or behave in public like Daivas, Hombale Films posted an emotional letter on their official social media accounts. Thanking everyone for their efforts, the first statement said

The song "Dhaivaradhane" demonstrates the pride and belief that the people of the Tulunadu region of Karnataka have in their culture. Everyone is affected by this, not just moviegoers. To fulfill our promise and demonstrate the greatness of the Daivas, we produced the films Kantara and Kantara: Chapter 1.

The crew put a lot of effort into ensuring that the Dhaivaradhane customs were observed and honored, according to the production company. However, they were concerned that some people were acting irresponsibly by doing Daiva acts in public places where everyone could see them, such as movie theaters.

People were urged by Hombale Films to refrain from copying, mocking, or participating in Daiva rites carelessly. The collective said,

Our film demonstrates that "Dhaivaradhane" is extremely important for the spirit and shouldn't be copied. These actions cause emotional distress and diminish the significance of the Tulu community's beliefs.

Things that spread quickly made people nervous.

When recordings of fans dressed as Daivas dancing outside movie theaters to the trance music of Rishab Shetty appeared online, people began talking about it. While some found it impolite, others enjoyed the thrill.

The creators of Kantara: Chapter 1 hope that readers will appreciate the narrative and the culture it depicts. It continues to perform well.
