Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 6: Rishab Shetty’s epic earns Rs 427.5 Cr worldwide, aims Rs 500 Cr mark

Kantara: Chapter 1 is performing well at domestic and global box office

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 continues to dominate the box office. The film is just Rs 10 crore away from finally crossing the Rs 300 crore mark at the domestic box office. Meanwhile, the film is also performing well worldwide.

According to the trade website, Kantara: Chapter 1 has earned around Rs 33.50 crore net in India on its sixth day of release for all languages. The film is estimated to earn around Rs 10.50 to Rs 11.50 crore net in India in Hindi.

Kantara: Chapter 1’s total collection now stands at Rs 290.25 crore net in India.

The film made its debut in theatres with Rs 61.85 crore net in India and saw a decline on its second day of release, earning Rs 45.4 crore net in India. However, the prequel of Kantara collected Rs 55 crore net in India on its third day and Rs 63 crore on its fourth day. The film collected Rs 31.5 crore net in India on its fifth day.

Kantara: Chapter 1 Global Box Office Collection

Rishab Shetty’s mythological epic is enjoying a successful run at the global box office.
According to the trade website, Kantara: Chapter 1 has notably collected the historic Rs 427.5 crore worldwide. The film now aims to soon cross the Rs 500 mark worldwide.

A prequel to Kantara collected a net domestic collection of Rs 255.75 crore and a gross collection of Rs 307 crore in India. The film has added Rs 63 crore ($7 million) from overseas and Rs 370 crore gross worldwide in its first five days of release.

The Rishab Shetty-directed movie is now the first Kannada film of 2025 to surpass the milestone. Kantara Chapter 1 has gained immense popularity in Hindi in addition to its Kannada audience.

Rishab Shetty's film is on track to become the first South Indian film of the year to reach the Rs 100 crore milestone in Hindi alone.
