Redmi 9 Prime Specifications (rumoured)
Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi 9 Prime will have a Full HD+ display. If rumours are to be believed, the Redmi 9 Prime will be a rebranded version of the Redmi 9 global variant.
In that case, Redmi 9 Prime will have a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD with a waterdrop notch that houses an 8 MP f/2.0 front camera.
Under the hood, the Redmi 9 Prime is likely to have a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. The Redmi 9 global variant comes with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB memory. It also packs a 5,020 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, but the company only includes a 10W charging in the box.
On the back, Redmi 9 Prime is likely to sport a quad-camera setup with a 13MP f/2.2 primary lens, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP f/2.4 macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The Redmi 9 features a headphone jack along with Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n at 2.4GHz, and NFC support.
Redmi 9 is priced at EUR 149 (Roughly Rs 12,800) for the base 3GB/32GB configuration, while the 4GB/64GB variant costs EUR 179 (Roughly Rs 15,385). We expect the smartphone to be priced just under Rs 10,000 in India and sit below the recently-launched Redmi Note 9 (Review).
The phone is available internationally in three colours – Black, Green, and Purple.
