Improving the after-sales support is imperative for the success of any smartphone brand, as all users seek good service for their purchased devices. However, many users have faced various issues with major smartphone brands, especially while claiming warranty or repairs. To address these issues, Xiaomi has announced the opening of 10 premium service centres across key Indian cities, setting a new benchmark in customer care and experience.
These new premium service centres are located in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, and Ahmedabad. These new centres aim to redefine after-sales service by focusing on solving user-centric problems. Moreover, the centres promise to complete 95% of repairs within 24 hours, which is an increase from the current 89%, achieved through the use of better diagnostic tools and a steady supply of spare parts.
Sudhin Mathur, Chief Operating Officer of Xiaomi India, stated: “At Xiaomi, our goal has always been to build more than just products - we aim to create lasting connections with the people who trust us. Launching these Premium Service Centres is a strategic step in deepening that connection and raising the bar for customer experience in India. It reflects our long-term commitment to be part of everyday life, to listen, learn, and continue innovating for the people we serve.”
The company plans to expand its network further by establishing 100 premium service centres nationwide. A recent survey by Counterpoint Research ranks Xiaomi among the top brands for service speed, as 52% of customer issues are resolved within four hours. Besides common service-related tasks, these centres will allow users to explore and purchase Xiaomi products and participate in community-building initiatives. Moreover, on every Wednesday, the company will host Xiaomi Days, offering exclusive service benefits, free software upgrades, and special customer discounts.
