Google gets interactive with doodle for Slalom Canoe

Google has come out with another interactive doodle today, and this one's for Slalom Canoe. Whitewater slalom (canoe slalom since November 2008) is an Olympic sport and the doodle aims to capture the thrill behind it just right. The doodle, like all of Google's other doodles for the London 2012 Olympics, lets the user play as the onscreen paddler. The paddler is set going once the button with the Play sign on it is pressed. After that, the user has to control the speed and the direction of the canoe or the kayak by alternating on the direction keys and while doing so has to take care that the canoe does not dash into any of the hurdles enroute or to the river bank, for they slow down the canoe. Click here for full story
