Health Minister Harsh Vardhan and Labour Minister Santosh Kumar Gangwar jointly released the safe workplace guidelines for industry & establishments to combat the pandemic, a labour ministry statement said.

This is part of the new labour law which the government is bringing and the ministry is in touch with the various state governments, Gangwar said.
The Code on Wages Bill, 2019, which seeks to amend and consolidate the laws relating to wages and bonus and matters connected therewith, will benefit 50 crore workers, Labour Minister Santosh Kumar Gangwar said.
