'Auspicious arrival': PM Modi welcomes newborn calf at his residence, names it 'Deepjyoti'. Watch

The calf was born at the Prime Minister’s residence, and in the video, PM Modi is seen affectionately interacting with it. He revealed that he chose the name 'Deepjyoti' because of a distinct mark resembling a symbol of light on its forehead.

The elite club, called a relic of the imperial past by the NCLAT, is allegedly riddled with mismanagement, nepotism and financial irregularities. However, its members, especially some in the disbanded committee, disagree and told Moneycontrol they were considering taking the matter to the Supreme Court.
