The software services exporter has revised dollar revenue growth guidance upwards to 8.9-9.3 percent from 6.4-8.4 percent earlier and also raised revenue guidance to 12.8-13.2 percent in constant currency from 10-12 percent earlier.
"Infosys has won a contract to transform the application landscape of DNB Bank of Norway," says the country's second largest software services provider.
Barclays feels that focus on large clients, 43 percent increase in the size of its sales force over FY15 and rupee depreciation will lead to near-term revenue acceleration.
The brokerage believes Infosys innovation and automation will likely be saviour of the industry amidst continued pricing pressure. However, it will continue to watch per capita revenue and win rates to track the measurable benefits of automation for Infosys.
The rupee has been moving towards 66 a dollar level, down 31 paise to 65.85 per dollar, the lowest level in last two-year. Generally the weak rupee helps exporters to earn more money.
