Infosys gains on five-year contract from Norway company

Shares of Infosys gained 0.8 percent intraday Friday on getting five-year contract for application transformation programme from Norway company.

"Infosys has won a contract to transform the application landscape of DNB Bank of Norway," says the country's second largest software services provider.

While explaining the work, it further says applying AiKiDo framework, it will leverage knowledge-based non-disruptive renewal strategies to evolve DNB Bank's entire data cluster, including business intelligence, analytics, data warehousing services, regulatory reporting and enterprise resource planning functions.

Infosys will be the bank's exclusive partner for development and maintenance of over 64 applications across 14 different technology platforms over the next five years.

At 09:35 hours IST, the scrip of Infosys was quoting at Rs 1,054.00, up Rs 7.60, or 0.73 percent on the BSE.
