The BJP unveiled its fifth list of candidates. Arun Govil, famous for his role in Ramayan, will vie for the seat in Meerut.

On Sunday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled its fifth list of candidates for the 2024 Lok Sabha Election. Among the 111 candidates listed were notable figures such as actor Kangana Ranaut, who secured the ticket from Mandi, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan from Sambalpur, Odisha, and Arun Govil, known for his role in Ramayan, from Meerut.

  16. K Surendran (Wayanad, Kerala)

Key Changes in BJP's Candidate List:

The BJP has opted to drop several Veteran MPs in its latest list. Here are some of them:

  1. Union Minister VK Singh
  2. Union Minister Ashwini Chaubey
  3. Varun Gandhi
  4. Dilip Ghosh
Shift in Constituency:

Varun Gandhi's position in Sultanpur was taken over by Jitin Prasada, indicating a change in leadership dynamics. Dilip Ghosh's constituency was relocated from Medinipur to Bardhaman-Durgapur, with BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul taking the reins.
