Back-to-back temblors hit Afghanistan, more than 4,000 feared killed

The death toll from catastrophic earthquakes that shook western Afghanistan has risen to more than 4,000, a Taliban government spokesman.

Herat is still experiencing aftershocks, causing anxiety for everyone. Official reports show that there have been 2,445 deaths and 2,440 injuries following the #earthquake in Herat Province. However, data verification remains a challenge, and the numbers may change.
