Tej Pratap Yadav’s ‘sudarshan chakra’ warning amid speculations over sister Rohini’s cryptic posts

Amid speculations over recent social media posts by Rohini Acharya, Lalu Yadav’s daughter, her brother Tej Pratap Yadav warned that anyone insulting his sisters would face the “Sudarshan Chakra” of Lord Krishna.

Acharya, who has been nursing political ambitions, raised eyebrows with a series of cryptic tweets in the past few days.

"I have fulfilled my duties and responsibilities as a daughter and sister, and I will continue to do so in the future. I have no desire for any position, nor do I have any political ambitions. For me, my self-respect is paramount,” she wrote on X last week, triggering speculation if everything was well within the RJD.

She has also unfollowed all RJD leaders, including her brother and party leader Tejashwi Yadav. Earlier, she had highlighted a photo showing Tejashwi Yadav’s aide, Sanjay Yadav, occupying the front seat of the party’s campaign van.

In another post on X, Acharya shared a video shot while she was being taken to the operation theatre for the surgery that saved her father's life in 2022.

"Rohini is much older than me. As a child, I played in her lap. The sacrifice she had made is hard for any daughter, sister and mother," Tej Pratap said, referring to her kidney donation to their father.

"I am fully with my sister in the ongoing episode. Whoever dares to insult her will have to face Krishna's 'Sudarshan Chakra'," he declared.

A medical graduate who chose to be a homemaker and settle with her husband in Singapore, Acharya first came to the limelight in 2022 when she donated a kidney to her father, who was in need of a transplant.

Last year, she made an unsuccessful electoral debut from Saran constituency, which was represented by her father long ago. After lying low for a while, she was again seen in public last month when she joined Prasad's heir apparent Tejashwi Yadav and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi for the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’.

Rumours suggested that Acharya was planning another run in the upcoming assembly elections; however, according to sources, Tejashwi was reportedly unresponsive, PTI reported.
