The Delhi Rouse Avenue Court court on Mondya granted bail to RJD chief Lalu Prasad, sons Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav in land-for-jobs case.
Special Judge Vishal Gogne granted the relief to the accused persons on a personal bond of Rs lakh each, noting that they were not arrested during the investigation. The matter is listed for October 25. "They keep indulging in political conspiracy. They misuse agencies. There is nothing concrete in this case. Our victory is certain..." Tejashwi Yadav told ANI.
The judge had issued the summon after taking cognisance of a supplementary charge sheet against the accused persons. The court also directed all the three accused to surrender their passports.

What is and-for-jobs case?
The case pertains to allegations of irregularities during Lalu Prasad's tenure as Union railway minister, where jobs were allegedly given in exchange for land parcels.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) issued summons to Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi Yadav to appear for questioning in January. According to ED, the case pertains to Group-D appointments made in West Central Zone of the railways based in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, during Lalu Prasad's tenure as the railway minister from 2004 to 2009 in return for land parcels gifted or transferred by the recruits in the name of the RJD supremo's family or associates.
