The 21st instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is set to be released today, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to transfer the next Rs 2,000 to eligible farmers on November 19 during an event in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. According to the PM-Kisan portal, nearly Rs 18,000 crore will be disbursed through the Direct Benefit Transfer system.

When will the PM Kisan 21st instalment be credited?

The official website notes that more than 9 crore beneficiaries will begin receiving the payment at 1 pm. The launch event will be livestreamed from 1:30 pm.

Farmers are advised to ensure that their eKYC is completed, as it remains mandatory for receiving PM-Kisan benefits. eKYC can be done through OTP verification on the portal, biometric authentication at CSC or SSK centres, or face authentication on the PM Kisan mobile app. An Aadhaar number is essential for the verification process.

A PIB release dated November 14 states that over Rs 3.70 lakh crore has been transferred to more than 11 crore farmer families across 20 instalments so far. Benefits are provided only to those whose land records are linked to the PM-Kisan database, whose bank accounts are seeded with Aadhaar and whose eKYC is verified.

How to check PM Kisan 21st instalment status

To view your payment status on pmkisan.gov.in:

• Visit the PM-Kisan website.
• Go to the Farmer’s Corner section.
• Click on ‘Know Your Status’.
• Enter your registration number and security code.
• An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
