As new revelations trickle in regarding various aspects of the horrific November 10 car blast near Delhi's Red Fort that killed 13 individuals and injured many more, a News18 report says Dr Muzammil, a Kashmiri doctor and faculty member at Al-Falah University, played a central role in the newly exposed 'white-collar' terror module linked to the car blast in New Delhi.
The same publication also reported that Muzammil and his associates—among them Dr Umar and Dr Muzaffar —stockpiled large quantities of explosives and weapons in rented premises in Haryana, using their medical schedules as a cover for their activities.
Muzammil reportedly told interrogators that he deliberately focused on recruiting educated Muslims—doctors, engineers, and postgraduate students—believing they had legitimacy, mobility, and could hide in plain sight within institutions without drawing suspicion.
According to claims, his foreign handlers reinforced this by telling him intellectual recruits were the future of jihad. He used Telegram channels such as Farzadani Darul Uloom Deoband and Kafila-e-Gurba to spread doctrine and to recruit.
The probe has revealed that the terrorists were planning multiple car blasts across various cities and several vehicles have already been recovered. The Brezza was found parked at Al Falah University, from where police seized a massive cache of explosives just hours before the Delhi blast.
Investigators have further found that the network was allegedly planning a major fidayeen attack on December 6 and Shaheen, along with key operatives linked to the Red Fort blast, including Dr Umar un Nabi of Al Falah Medical College, was reportedly central to this plot.
