Amid the proposed ceasefire to the three-year-old war between Ukraine and Russia and the upcoming Raisina Dialogue, billboards of prime minister Narendra Modi and Russian president Vladimir Putin have come up across Lutyens Delhi.
Big, prominent billboards are put up across Lutyens' Delhi. In the hoarding, PM Modi and Putin are walking side by side and "India-Russia: Driving Global Change" is written beneath it.

The billboards were put by RT, formerly Russia Today, a Russian state-controlled international news television network funded by the Russian government.
These billboards come at a critical time as Ukraine and Russia are gearing up for the proposed ceasefire talks and the upcoming Raisina Dialogue.
Putin said on Thursday he supported in principle Washington's proposal for a 30-day ceasefire with Ukraine but that his forces would fight on until several crucial conditions were worked out.

The Raisina Dialogue, India's multilateral conference will begin tomorrow, March 17. The conference has emerged as India's flagship conference on geopolitics and geo-economics.
Ukraine Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha is scheduled to attend the conference organised by the Observer Research Foundation and the Ministry of External Affairs.
The Russian embassy in India has also posted for RT while extending Holi wishes.

India’s stance towards Russia’s conflict with Ukraine has frustrated the west. New Delhi has continued to buy oil from Moscow and has so far refrained from condemning Vladimir Putin’s war. Jaishankar clarified that India has its own view and it cannot ‘jettison’ its old ties with Moscow. He remarked that “people often make big issues of principle”.
