BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut on Thursday said that one should also consider her position, when asked about the floods that have ravaged her constituency Mandi in Himachal Pradesh.

She spoke about her own cafe in Himachal Pradesh. While speaking to a woman who was asking her questions related to the floods, she said, "Imagine what I must be going through...I also have a restaurant here. Yesterday, I only did ₹50 worth of business. I have salaries of ₹15 lakh to pay. Please understand my pain too, I am human as well."

With this, Ranaut urged the woman to also take into consideration her pain as she explained all about financial losses in her cafe business.

Kangana Ranaut had, earlier this year, announced that she would open her first cafe, The Mountain Story, in Manali. Meanwhile, she faced a push-back from residents during her visit to Manali's Patlikuhal area - that was damaged by floods.

Locals had sent out a small message for her by holding black flags and shouting slogans, news agency PTI had reported. Locals had shouted slogans, saying, "Go back Kangana, you are late".
