Logistics tech platform BlackBuck’s co-founder and CEO Rajesh Yabaji on September 18 clarified that the company is only relocating to another location within Bengaluru to ease employee commute.
“As we do this, we want to reiterate that a large part of operations will continue on ORR, and we will keep engaging with authorities for infrastructure improvements to support smooth business operations,” Yabaji said in a statement shared on X.

He recalled that BlackBuck started in 2015 from a small office near Sony Signal, Koramangala, before moving to Bellandur–ORR in 2016 for larger space. “The city of Bengaluru and the state of Karnataka have provided the resources, infrastructure, talent, and opportunities to grow into a company making a meaningful impact across India’s trucking ecosystem,” he said.
“As one of the biggest beneficiaries of the Karnataka tech ecosystem, we fully acknowledge Bengaluru’s role in our journey. Hence, we categorically refute claims that we are considering moving out of the city. Bengaluru is home for us, and we will continue to expand our footprint here,” Yabaji added.
Earlier, on September 16, Yabaji had posted on X that BlackBuck was “moving out” of ORR, citing one-and-a-half-hour-long commutes, poor road conditions, potholes, and dust, adding that he did not expect the situation to improve in the next five years.
Amid the row, Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh on September 17 invited Yabaji to relocate the company to Visakhapatnam, touting it as one of India’s cleanest cities with top-class infrastructure and a safe environment for women.
