State-run Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) on December 1 increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 21 per cylinder, effective immediately.
The price of 19-kg cylinders used by establishments such as hotels and restaurants now stands at Rs 1,796.50 in Delhi from Rs 1,775.50.
Following the price hike, commercial LPG cylinder is priced at Rs 1,749 in Mumbai, Rs 1,908 in Kolkata and Rs 1,968.50 in Chennai.
However, price of domestic LPG - used in household kitchens for cooking purposes - remained unchanged at Rs 903 per 14.2-kg cylinder.
