Bulk deals: HDFC Bank pares further stake in CAMS, CLSA Global Markets buys further stake in Sunteck Realty

The additional stake sale in CAMS comes after HDFC bank said it had sold 9.86 lakh shares in CAMS which is 2.01 percent of the shares in the company on January 23.

HDFC Bank sold 10 lakh shares in Computer Age Management Services via 2 blocks at NSE and BSE. The stake sale was worth Rs 270 crore. Fidelity Emerging Markets Fund bought 2.82 lakh shares at Rs 2700 per share. The additional stake sale comes after the bank said it had sold 9.86 lakh shares in CAMS which is 2.01 percent of the shares in the company on January 23.

The share price of CAMS closed 0.25 percent lower at Rs 2,733 at NSE.

In Sunteck Realty, Briarwood Capital Master Fund sold a 3.22 percent stake or 47.15 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 445.5. While CLSA Global Markets PTE picked up a 3.18 percent stake or 46.52 lakh shares in the company at Rs 445.5 per equity share. CLSA Global Markets previously held a 1.19 percent stake in the company as of December 2023.

Sunteck Realty stock fell 2.02 percent to Rs 432.25 at NSE.

BNP Paribas Arbitrage sold 46.46 lakh shares or 0.55 percent stake in Manappuram Finance at Rs 172.06 per equity share. The stake sale is worth Rs 79.94 crore. BNP Paribas held a 2.22 percent stake in Manappuram Finance as of December 2023.

Shares of Manappuram Finance surged 3.51 percent to Rs 174.2.

Venus Remedies is another company where BNP Paribas Arbitrage was active. In Venus Remedies, BNP Paribas Arbitrage sold 66,948 shares at an average price of Rs 380.24. Societe Generale bought 66,838 shares at Rs 380.35 per share.

Venus Remedies stock closed 0.32 percent higher than previous day’s close at Rs 377.9 at NSE.

In Poonawalla Fincorp, 40.33 lakh shares exchanged hands at an average price of Rs 495.85. Rising Sun Holdings were the buyers while Magma Ventures sold the 0.52 percent stake. Magma Ventures held a 1.5 percent stake in the company til December 2023 as per the shareholding pattern. The value of the shares exchanged is Rs 199.97 crore.

Shares of Poonawalla Fincorp fell 0.98 percent to Rs 478 at NSE.
