Bulk deal: Bajaj Finance sells Rs 57 crore worth of shares in Strides Pharma

In a bulk deal on February 9, Bajaj Finance offloaded 8,04,629 shares, or 0.88 percent stake, in Strides Pharma Science at an average price of Rs 713 valuing the transaction at Rs 57.37 crore. Amansa Holding Private Ltd picked up 11,40,301 shares or 1.24 percent stake at the same price. Amansa bought Rs 81.30 crore worth of shares in the company.

Shares of Strides Pharma Science fell 2 percent to Rs 699.2 on BSE in the trading session.

Meanwhile, Societe Generale acquired 2,58,071 shares in Apollo Pipes at an average price of Rs 766.13 through open market transactions. Societe Generale bought Rs 19.77 crore worth of equity stake in the company.

Apollo Pipes’ shares closed 14.39 percent higher at Rs 769 on NSE.

In another such transaction, Infinity Asset Advisors sold 3,91,588 shares or 0.98 percent stake at Rs 532 per share in Andhra Paper. Infinity sold Rs 20.83 crore worth of shares in the company. Shares of Andhra Paper fell 1.36 percent to Rs 524 on NSE.
