AI and data science solutions company Tredence, on July 3, inaugurated a new delivery center in Pune. The Pune hub, which currently has 400 employees, is expected to grow to over 1,000 by 2026, with the company planning to hire 600-800 professionals over the next year.
The Pune center will become Tredence’s second-largest delivery hub in India, playing a key role in building and deploying enterprise AI and analytics solutions for global clients, it said in a release.
The expansion is part of Tredence’s 2025 plan to hire 1,700 employees, with about 30 percent focused on Generative AI (Gen AI) and Agentic AI specialisations. The company is also developing academic partnerships to create a pipeline of AI talent and strengthen its Tredence Studio in Pune, which builds AI accelerators using its proprietary AI Flywheel framework.
“Pune represents our second-largest delivery hub in India. It’s a strategic cornerstone that amplifies our global capabilities and positions us closer to exceptional talent and innovation ecosystems,” Munjay Singh, Chief Operating Officer at Tredence, was quoted as saying in the release. The center is already delivering active client programs and is expected to support co-innovation partnerships across industries worldwide.
Rekha Nair, Chief Human Resource Officer, said the Pune office would serve as a hub for developing next-generation AI talent, with a focus on continuous learning and advanced areas like Gen AI and Agentic AI.
Tredence now operates across Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurugram, Kolkata, and Pune. Earlier this year, it acquired consulting firm Further Advisory to bolster its BFSI vertical, reinforcing its position as a partner for end-to-end AI-led transformation.
