Bharat Electronics (BEL) and Shriram Finance are among nine Nifty 50 stocks that have gained for three consecutive trading sessions as of Wednesday, October 1. The positive momentum in both counters coincides with recent company updates and market developments.

On Tuesday, September 30, Bharat Electronics announced that it had received additional orders worth Rs 1,092 crore since its last disclosure on September 16. The orders relate to the upgrade of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, defence network upgrades, tank sub-systems, communication gear, EVMs, and various services. The stock rose 0.63 percent on Wednesday to close at Rs 403.95, extending its three-day cumulative gain to 1.64 percent.

Shriram Finance, meanwhile, has been in focus after a report by The Economic Times suggested that Japan’s MUFG Group is in advanced talks to acquire a 20 percent stake in the company via preferential allotment worth over Rs 23,000 crore. While the company has since issued a clarification stating it has no such information, the stock gained 5.29 percent on Wednesday, taking its three-day total gain to 6.03 percent. It ended at Rs 616.10.

Among the other Nifty 50 stocks that logged gains in each of the last three trading sessions are Grasim, Hindalco, HDFC Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), Sun Pharma, Tata Consumer Products, and Eternal (Zomato). All nine stocks posted cumulative gains between 1.3 percent and 6 percent over the three-day period.

The gainers are spread across a diverse set of sectors including defence, financials, metals, auto, FMCG, and pharmaceuticals, with no clear single-sector concentration.
