Composio, an agentic AI startup that enables AI agents to continue self-learning, has raised $25 million in a Series A round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, at a time when venture capital funds are aggressively looking for bets in the global AI boom.

Other investors who invested in this round include Guillermo Rauch (Vercel CEO), Dharmesh Shah (HubSpot CTO & Founder), Gokul Rajaram, and Soham Mazumdar (Rubrik Co-founder), alongside institutional investors SV Angel, Blitzscaling Ventures, Operator Partners, and Agent Fund by Yohei Nakajima. Existing investors Elevation Capital and Together Fund.

With this round, the startup’s total funding raised till date has grown to $29 million. Moneycontrol exclusively reported on this deal in April 2025.

The fresh capital is expected to be utilised by Composio to accelerate development of learning infrastructure. Composio's technology enables systems to continuously improve by accumulating experience, unlike conventional AI agents that remain static despite repeated use.

Composio creates a shared learning layer for AI agents. “When an agent on the platform learns how to handle a Salesforce integration edge case, optimize a GitHub workflow, or scaffold a database using Supabase MCP, that knowledge becomes available to every other agent - creating a network effect where the entire ecosystem improves together,” the startup explained in a blogpost.

Headquartered in San Francisco, Composio was founded in 2023 by IIT Bombay batchmates Soham Ganatra and Karan Vaidya.

Ganatra, CEO, Composio said, “You can spend hundreds of hours building LLM tools, tweaking prompts, and refining instructions, but you hit a wall.”

"These models don't get better at their jobs the way a human employee would. They can't build context, learn from mistakes, or develop the subtle understanding that makes human workers invaluable. We're solving this at the infrastructure level," he explained.

At present, the platform has over 200 startups and enterprises including Glean as customers, already generating seven-figure revenue. It has a network of over 100,000 developers building on it.
