Lenskart co-founder Peyush Bansal has purchased a house in Neeti Bagh, an upscale Delhi locality, for Rs 18 crore, documents accessed by CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics firm, showed.
The sale deed was executed in his name on May 19, 2023. Bansal has paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.08 crore for the transaction, the documents showed. The documents were made available only now.
According to the documents, the area that Bansal bought is 469.7 sq m or 5056 square feet. The property has a total covered area of 939.4 sq m or 10,111.7 square feet and it sits on 680 sq m plot in Neeti Bagh. Bansal bought the bungalow from Surinder Singh Atwal. Bansal, who is also on the judges’ panel on Shark Tank India, the reality TV show in which candidates pitch business ideas to potential investors, purchased the basement and the ground floor of the residential property, according to the documents.
There was no immediate response from Bansal to queries sent to him.

According to the circle rate, the value of the property is around Rs 5.42 crore, the documents showed.
This is the latest in a string of notable deals in Delhi this year. For instance, in March, a 2,160 square yard bungalow was bought in the name of Vasudha Rohatgi, the wife of former attorney general of India Mukul Rohatgi, in Delhi's tony Golf Links for Rs 160 crore.

In August, Renu Khuller, director of Global Dent Aids, a company that manufactures interdental brushes (a kind of substitute for floss), bought a bungalow having an area of 873 square yards in Delhi’s posh Nizamuddin East for Rs 61.70 crore.
