Procter & Gamble Hygiene, on May 28, said their Chief Financial Officer Prashant Bhatnagar has tendered his resignation with effect from June 28, 2024 after serving the company for nearly 28 years.

Mrinalini Srinivasan has been appointed as the next CFO from June 29, the company informed the exchanges.

P&G Hygiene and Health Care Ltd is one of P&G India’s listed entity that includes brands like Vicks and Whisper.

Srinivasan joined P&G in 2008 in India, and has worked across Singapore, India, and Dubai, leading transformational projects and delivering outstanding results for several important P&G businesses.

She is an alumnus of FMS Delhi and currently leads Corporate Finance and is also the Executive Sponsor of Gender Equality for P&G India group.

Prior to this role, she was the Senior Director, Sales Finance for P&G India.

Mrinalini Srinivasan said, “I am honored for this opportunity and excited to take on the new role. P&G Health on April 30 reported a decline of 6.45 percent in profit after tax at Rs 154.37 crore in the third quarter ended March 2024. The company, which follows the July-June financial year, had reported a profit after tax of Rs 165.02 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding fiscal.

On May 28, shares of P&G Health settled marginally lower at Rs 4,811.55 apiece.
