NAVs end strong as markets surge
Equity diversified NAVs ended strong with advance:decline ratio of 253:3 as the Indian equities snapped a six-day losing streak on Wednesday led by a sharp pullback as markets looked oversold in previous sessions with the loss of around 1350 points on the Sensex.

Equity diversified NAVs ended strong with advance:decline ratio of 253:3 as the Indian equities snapped a six-day losing streak on Wednesday led by a sharp pullback as markets looked oversold in previous sessions with the loss of around 1350 points on the Sensex. The Nifty added more than 100 points on heavy volumes; volume largely supported by F&O segment.
The 30-share BSE Sensex settled at 19,534.10, with gain of 337.76 points or 1.76% and the 50-share NSE Nifty added 109.15 points (or 1.9%) to end at 5,863.25, after seeing recovery of 152 points from day's low of 5,711.30. All sectoral funds advanced, Long and Short term debt funds too closed with positive returns; their advance:decline ratio stood at 73:4 & 108:3, respectively.- Equity diversified NAVs end strong
