This is not the time to panic even if it is a sharp correction, says Geoff Lewis

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Geoff Lewis, Global Strategist-Capital Markets Group at Manulife AMC shared his outlook on the US market.

Lewis said that this is not the time to panic even if it is a sharp correction.

He further said that we are confident that underlying fundamentals are strong.

According to him, earnings and macroeconomic indicators for US economy continue to be strong.

He further mentioned that emerging market equities have been a bit more resilient versus past.

We were reducing risk position in equities from the second half of January, he added.
