Promoter Rashmi Chowdhary sold a 2 percent stake in Titagarh Rail Systems or 26.94 lakh shares for an average price of Rs 1618. Rashmi Chowdhary had a 9.52 percent stake in Titagarh Rail Systems as of March 30.

Titagarh Rail Systems shares closed 11.18 percent up at Rs 1,799 on the NSE.

Vedanta shares closed 2.65 percent down at Rs 442 on the NSE.
