Magicpin to spend Rs 50 cr-Rs 100 cr on discounts during ONDC’s World Cup food delivery sale

Hyperlocal savings super-app – Magicpin- announced ‘Super Saver Match Day’ campaign starting on October 8 for India vs Australia World Cup cricket match. The campaign, to run during ONDC’s World Cup food delivery sale, will provide consumers to get exciting discounts over and additional incentives during "India’s biggest food delivery sale", it claimed.

Consumers can avail flat up to Rs 175 discount and free deliveries on orders above Rs 200, Magicpin said in a press release. The company will provide exclusive discounts on popular food chains such as Fassos, Behrouz Biryani, Oven Story, McDonald’s, Wow Momo, Pizza Hut, Barbeque Nation and Barista on delivery orders throughout the day.

During the World Cup, users can enjoy seamless savings experience across 65,000 restaurants on ordering from the magicpin app.

Anshoo Sharma, CEO of magicpin said: “ We are pulling all stops for World Cup 2023, the biggest savings festival on food delivery. We plan to offer discounts worth Rs 50 crore to cricket fans on food delivery and can go up to Rs 100 crore, making it feast for fans.”

Magicpin is an e-commerce delivery app that provides consumers discounts on accessing the app to for nearby retail services, food and entertainment.

Members can get exclusive offers and savings options across the restaurants on the app, if they use the app to order. The company charges commission to the restaurants for bringing the customer to them in such cases.

Earlier in May, the company had brought around 40,000 restaurants on the platform and was planning to 250,000 brands and retailer stores across fashion, food, grocery, pharma, electronics, nightlife and entertainment.

The app also provides discounts and offers throughout the year on these categories. Magicpin’s more than 10 million members earn rewards of more than $3 billion annual spending that let them access savings and discounts on the app
