Infrastructure company KEC International has won orders worth Rs 147 crore in its emerging water and railways businesses.


In the water business, the company has secured three orders worth Rs 98 crore to construct canals for irrigation projects in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, KEC said on Wednesday.


It has also won Rs 49 crore worth orders to supply railway track materials, tools and railway signaling equipment for Kenya Railway Corporation, the RPG group company said.


KEC International now has an order book of Rs 178 crore in the water business and Rs 400 crore in the railway business.

KEC International shares were down 2.9% at Rs 41.40 on NSE in morning trade on NSE.
