Chandan Taparia of Motilal Oswal Securities told CNBC-TV18, "We have positive view on the metal index and Nifty metal index has recently bottomed out. So stocks like Hindalco Industries, Vedanta and Tata Steel are likely to attract buying interest. We are recommending to buy Tata Steel with a stop loss of Rs 689 and expecting it to head towards Rs 735 because of its symmetrical triangle breakout."

"Second trade that we have selected from NBFC space is Bajaj Finance. The stock has formed a positive price pattern and taken support at its lower band of the trading range. We are expecting a move towards Rs 1,815. So, one can buy with a stop loss of Rs 1,726."

"Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has taken support at its rising trend line on the weekly chart and this trend line is really doing well. So, expecting a bounce of 4-5 percent in the counter in next couple of trading sessions. One can buy with a stop loss of Rs 2,545 for an upside target towards Rs 2,660 kind of levels," he added.

At 10:08 hrs Tata Consultancy Services was quoting at Rs 2,579.50, up Rs 2.50, or 0.10 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 2,584.50 and an intraday low of Rs 2,567.50.
